Our Why

According to UNICEF, approximately 1.13 million children of primary school age (6 to 13 years old) are not in school across the country.  Poverty, conflicts, child labor, problems at home among other factors have been considered as the cause for these alarming statistics.

To address these challenges, Climate and Child Initiative is designed to ensure all children are equipped with quality education to serve as ambassadors for environmental conservation, health and sanitation efforts. In addition, we are providing a platform for them to use their age advantage to contribute to climate justice and secure the future through environmental conservation.

Climate and Child Initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Overall, our work strongly contributes to the following SDGs in particular.
